CKRUET question bank and question analysis
The admission test for the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), and Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), collectively referred to as CKRUET, is a crucial gateway for aspiring engineers in Bangladesh.
This challenging exam tests candidates in four main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The CKRUET admission test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and carries a total of 500 marks, thoroughly evaluating students’ academic knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
Physics: 25 MCQs × 6 marks each = 150 marks
Chemistry: 25 MCQs × 6 marks each = 150 marks
Mathematics: 25 MCQs × 6 marks each = 150 marks
English: 25 MCQs × 2 marks each = 50 marks

Mathematics: CKRUET Questions analysis
For the CKRUET math section, it’s a good idea to focus on topics like straight lines, circles, and conic sections. These questions usually need a few steps, and you’ll need a solid understanding of each topic. A helpful tip is to sketch out the problem first to make sure you’re on track.
In calculus, CKRUET often throws in real-life scenarios, asking you to solve problems using calculus. Looking at the past few years, there’s a clear trend of questions that involve finding the area under different geometric graphs.
During the 2023-24 and 2022-23 tests, some students noticed that a few math questions—around 5 or 6—didn’t have a correct answer in the MCQ options. If you run into this, don’t stress. Just move on and avoid spending too much time on one tricky question.
Physics: CKRUET Questions analysis
There is no chapter suggestion for physics in CKRUET. As we saw in the questions from the last six years, almost all topics from every chapter are covered.
As our study says, CKRUET often designs some questions by following the previous IUT (Islamic University of Technology) admission exams. These questions tend to be tricky and require a deep understanding to solve.
We have noticed that circuit-solving questions are quite common in CKRUET physics exams, often testing the relationships between various formulas. Some questions are even modeled after BUET’s written exams, which are known for being lengthy and highly conceptual.
Chemistry: CKRUET Questions analysis
For every question analysis, we found 40% mathematical chemistry questions in the exam. These require using a calculator and basic formulas.
From organic chemistry, reaction changes, naming hydrocarbons, and important reactions are featured in CKRUET admission questions.
Mathematical questions come from chemical changes, quantitative chemistry, and environmental chemistry.
English: CKRUET Questions analysis
The English portion isn’t difficult and typically follows the standard of BCS and varsity-level English questions, focusing on common grammar topics.
As we’ve seen in previous years’ questions, around 10% of them involve gap-filling exercises. Sentence rearrangement has also been a frequent question type across various years.
Proverb meanings have consistently appeared as a common question type over the last 3 to 4 years. Occasionally, the questions also include synonyms, antonyms, and parts of speech.
